I would love to be a part of your next creative venture! Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions that you may have or to request a quote and time estimate on a project. I do have some graphic design experience and can help sketch up an idea if you aren't exactly sure what you are looking for!
Want to special order something but aren't sure if it can be done? This Q&A can help you determine if your creation is feasible! As a craftsman with 20+ years of experience, there is almost nothing outside of my wheelhouse!
Q: Is it an animal, clothing, blanket, accessory, keychain, or bag?
A: If Yes - then I can make it!
A: If No, but it's made out of string/yarn - then almost guaranteed I can make it!
Q: Can you use specialty materials, like 100% cotton, wool, or hemp?
A: Absolutely. There are also natural stuffing alternatives to the cheaper polyester options, so feel free to ask about these!
Q: Is the item larger than a golf ball?
A: If Yes - then I can make it! I even specialize in miniatures.
Explanation: While I can make micro-products, I do not specialize in these. Quality of micro-scale crochet may be 'less-than' compared to individuals who specialize in micro-crochet.
mini crochet size = clementine > softball
micro crochet size = pencil eraser (or smaller!) > golf ball
Q: I want a product that looks just like one you sold already! Can you recreate this for me?
A: The short answer is Yes, however, the piece will not look exactly the same
Explanation: I do not use pre-made patterns or follow any guides when making my products. While, yes, this results in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces to love, it can also mean that exact replicas are very difficult to re-create.
Q: I don't just want one color or pattern! Do you offer other color/pattern variations?
A: The short answer is Yes.
Explanation: I can integrate almost any number of colors into a design. Please note that actual pattern variations may drive up the final cost due to complexity of the piece (e.g. cowhide, zig-zags, stripes).
If you wanted, for instance, a white horse with pink hooves and gold hair instead of blue hooves and yellow hair, this would be a basic color change that likely would not result in a price. On the other hand, changing the horse from white to, for instance, a pinto horse would result in a price increase due to the splotchy pattern
Q: I can't afford the product I want, but I still want to get someone something. Can you make a cheaper version for me?
A: Yes, I could rework the piece to be cheaper, but at the cost of quality. While not exactly the same as the listing, these make great "Mom, I made it myself!" gifts.
Explanation: Most of the cost for handmade crochet is in the time spent on labor. I can speed up the craft process to make the piece cheaper, but detail will be lost and eye-catching mistakes could be present in the final product. This would be considered a commissioned piece. Please email me with any questions or submit an inquiry through the Contact Form
Q: Do you actually have over 20 years of experience crocheting?
A: Yes, I really do. I am 30 years old as of 2025 and have been crocheting since I was 7. I started simple and am pretty much self-taught.
Q: Do you offer any payment assistance or partial payments for your products?
A: Yes, there are a few tools for payment assistance. I can email you with more information about our payment schedule options.
Please note: I can take a non-refundable partial payment up front, then the rest prior to shipping the product. If payment is not received within 1 week after the agreed upon date, I will place the piece on my website under Unclaimed Cuties to attempt to sell the item to recuperate the remaining balance. You will still be able to purchase the product for the remaining balance until it sells on the listing site.
MagKnit Pals, LLC is not responsible if you miss email or text notification(s) about any payment(s) on remaining balance(s) due. It is the responsibility of the buyer to follow up on invoice correspondence and to make timely payments as scheduled.
